The Three in One Garden combines an edible garden, a family garden and a contemporary garden for grown-ups
within the boundaries of a typical urban space.

The garden is enclosed by coloured, rendered walls with soft-wood batons for textural contrast, and combines
smooth hard-wood decking with cool limestone paving. Three bespoke steel climbing frames, designed to support
climbers, and a recycled metal sculpture that imitates spreading tree branches complete the contemporary feel.

Herbs, vegetables and flowers combine with the geometric qualities of box hedging in the style of a potager.
Olive trees provide lateral focal points, surrounding by a dwarf-scented hedge, while bay standards add to the
geometric design.

A small lawn provides a play area for children. The edible plants encourage the whole family to discover the
satisfaction of growing their own food, making a positive contribution to the environment and getting a little
healthy exercise into the bargain.
